Located in Crockett, VA, Dream Weaver Farms is a Full Service Horse Training and Boarding Facility owned by Steve and Lynn Decker.

Horse Training
Lynn is the primary trainer and specializes in colt starting and training horses using natural horsemanship methods. She also offers horsemanship lessons and clinics to suit the needs of the client. Read more about our Horse Training and Foundation Techniques.

Riding Lessons and Clinics in VA
Our facility provides ground work and riding lessons, along with professional horsemanship clinics with your horse. Don’t have a horse? No problem, we will provide one of our own. If you are new to horses, we can also teach you handling techniques, like: how to easily catch a horse who doesn't want to be caught; how to properly lead a horse, tie and groom a horse along with the best equipment to use. We teach new riders all about horse tack, Western or English, including how to put on and properly adjust halters, bridles, saddle pads, saddles and breast collars. We also work with lots of riders who are having trouble communicating with a horse they have owned for years on the ground or under saddle. Full time Boarding and Overnight Horse Travel Care in Crockett, VA
When your horse is in our care he or she is treated like our own, including daily checks. We offer full and part-time stall board, as well as full-time pasture board. We strive for a confident horse that has been there and done that; one that we can trail ride across the mountain one day, and trailer out to a local fun show the next. We don’t specialize in any particular breed. We might have Quarter Horses, Mustangs, Arabians, or even Warm Bloods. Dream Weaver Farms is located about 9 miles South of Wytheville, VA in the beautiful mountains of SW Virginia. Our farm is convenient to I-81 and I-77 interchange, which make it easy to travel with horses. We are also convenient to Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Bluefield, WV, Abington, Bristol, Galax, Hillsville, and Roanoke, VA. We are also very close to Jefferson National Forest and public camp grounds, Grayson Highlands State Park with miles of horse trails including Virginia Highlands as well as Iron Mountain Trails.
